Caves and Ruins

NEW 2016 TOUR

Since we added the “Forgotten Glory” tour in 2014, we have had so many requests to combine a “Prehistoric” tour with  “Forgotten Glory” that we have actually put together this amazing, exciting and extremely historic tour – “Caves and Ruins”

The Caves and Ruins tour takes you on the very best of the “In the footsteps of the mammoth” and the full “Forgotten Glory” tour.

The highlights will be, lots of prehistoric caves, shelters, overhangs etc. and plenty of medieval troglodytes, hide-outs and of course ruins of rural farms and a medieval hamlet, abandoned during the plaque in 1348

The majority of this adventure is off the beaten trail, and does involve “clambering” and crawling, it will also be a fairly long tour, between 6 and 9+ hours depending on  group size and exploration times.
